WOW, my little George is 5 today!! Where did all that time go?? This boy cracks me up and couldn’t be any sweeter. He loves castles and dragons and knights and cars and monster trucks and playing with his brothers. He’s a really good big brother and a super helper to me. I just love this little guy.
The funniest part of today is how he really wants a cheesecake for his birthday. I can’t convince him otherwise. Luckily, the cheesecake he wants falls under the category “crazy delicious.” You know you want the recipe J
Sopapilla Cheesecake
2 cans crescent rolls
2 8oz packages cream cheese, softened
1 ½ cups granulated sugar
1 ½ tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter, melted
½ cup sugar cinnamon shaker (or mix your own)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 pan. Spread one can crescent rolls on bottom of pan. Whip together cream cheese and 1 ½ cup sugar and vanilla and spread over rolls. Top with second can of crescent rolls. Pour melted butter over top and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake at 350 degress for 35-40 minutes or until brown.
I think there are approximately 600 million calories in it. You will want to eat the whole tray.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE MAN!!
He looks very handsome. . . and big. He has grown so much since we last saw him!
ReplyDeleteI love the suit!!
ReplyDeleteHe seems so grown up now! I was looking at his baby pics today with Grace, it wasn't that long ago that the two babies began to be friends. Now they are almost ready for Kindergarten. We love Georgie!
